ANNOUNCING THE CRIT:
Brad Sohner. Brad has announced at a variety of cycling event across the country including Superweek, the Marion Classic, and the Tour of California just to name a few. Brad is a senior journalism major at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, focusing on advertising, marketing, and brand management. Brad is a regular contributor to Bike Rumor www.bikerumor.com. Joining Brad in the Announcers' stand will be Evan Schmitt from Roslyn, WA. Evan has called races in Track, Road and Cyclocross in Washington State including the MFG Cyclocross Series, Cascadia Criterium Series and Marymoor Velodrome Weeknight Track Series. He is a Junior at the University of Washington in Seattle and is a Communications major. He has been racing since 2002 and his brother is Morgan Schmitt, a member of the United Healthcare Pro Cycling Team. Evan has produced two feature length documentaries on bicycle racing and started the northwest bicycle racing news site, CyclingNW.com in 2008. EVENT - COURSE MAP:
The course is .92 miles in length with the start/finish at the paver crosswalk right on Main Street. The course heads north on Main Street, then makes its first left onto Commerce Road heading west. At Cabinet Street, it makes it’s second left heading south. It continues to its third left onto West Liberty which leads it past the historic Power House. The course then makes it’s only right turn into the rear entrance of Central Park, past the beautiful Huron River. It winds thru the park and into a hairpin turn bringing it back onto Main Street for the an uphill sprint to the finish. The course as laid out offers the most suitable and safest option for racing and spectator viewing.

Recommended parking at Muir and Baker schools which offer good locations within an easy walking/riding distance to Main Street.
